Description Truly a unique & rare experience in the whole world. This visit will leave you with a dramatic sense of the tremendous tragedy of separated families, the division of the peninsula and the hopes for reunification. The North Korean 3rd Tunnel is one of several underground tunnels dug under the DMZ (demilitarized zone) by North Korea for the purpose of infiltrating troops into South Korea in case of hostilities. It is deep under the surface and tourists are invited to descend to the bottom to view it for themselves. Cameras are permitted in the DMZ but it is essential that all visitors bring along their passports.

Description Bongeunsa Buddhist Temple stands directly across the road from the COEX(Convention Exhibition Center) to the north. During the reign of Joseon Dynasty's 13th King Myeongjong, Monk Bo-u moved the temple about one kilometer northeast from its original location. The Panjeon (Building of Scriptures) stores 3,479 plates on which 13 kinds of sutras including the Hwaeomgyeong and the Geumganggyeong are written. Under the eaves of the building hangs a wooden name plate which was written by one of the greatest calligraphy masters, Chusa Kim Jeong-hui(penname Chusa).
Jogyesa Buddhist Temple is one of the largest Buddhist temples to be found within the city limits. Headquarters of the Jogyejong sect, Jogyesa Buddhist Temple is famous for its Lantern Festival which is held every spring to commemorate Buddha's birthday. Experiencing Korean traditional tea ceremony at above temples would be really unique program for overseas participants.

narrative solo songs, and is also a home of some large green tea plantations. Green
tea plantation here now supplies 40% of the country's green teas. A green tea spa
will be an interesting thing to try while you are there. In Jeonju you can find shops
specializing in Korea's traditional mulberry paper, hanji. Pan Asia paper museum,
which is the only museum in Korea devoted to the history, development, use and
culture of paper. There are about 1,800 diverse arts and crafts related to paper.
Jeongdong Catholic Church is also the place to enjoy beautiful sightseeing. When
time permits, visit Jeonju Hanok Village which remained unchanged and still retains
its old traditions while the rest of city has been industrialized.
