Submission Guidelines

On-line Abstract Submission
l
The abstract submission deadline is December 7, 2006.
The Scientific Program Committee invites the submission of original contributions for presentation at the AOCO 2007. Scientific papers will be presented in the form of oral or poster presentation during the conference. The submission of the abstracts implies your consent to publish it in the abstract book.

The abstract submission deadline is November 30, 2006. You must submit your abstract through online-submission at the conference website (www.obesity2007.org) or by e-mail (seoul@obesity2007.org). Before submitting, please read the guidelines for preparing abstracts at www.obesity2007.org.

Authors whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation will receive confirmation letter by December 15, 2006. The presenter whose abstracts is accepted must register by December 30, 2006 or else the abstract will be withdrawn from the program.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific program committee. For evaluation, the originality of the submission, the contribution, the clarity of exposition and the adequacy of references to relevant international work will be stressed. The Scientific Program Committee seeks abstracts in the fields of following topics;

， Metabolic Syndrome & Comorbidities		 ， Body Composition & Methodology
， Child Obesity
， Interventional Studies for Obesity
， Regulation of Energy Balance
 
Titles and Authors
1. The title should be short and concise, and indicate the contents of the abstract (maximum 2 lines).
2. Title should be all in capital and bold letters.
3. The author(s) name should be typed in upper and lower case letters (first name and initials first, followed by last name). Use commas to separate the authors' names.
4. The name of the presenting author should be underlined.
5. Do not include your titles or degrees.
6. Authors should be grouped by organizations, and enter a superscript number after each name to correspond their institution (Unnecessary to use a superscript if only one author).
7. The department and organization of author(s) should be followed by a superscript number, corresponding to the author.
8. The organization name should be followed by city, state and country (no street addresses) where the work was performed.
 
Body of Abstract
1. The text of the abstract should begin on a new line.
2. The font should be Times New Roman (including symbols) in 10 point.
3. Special characters must be inserted into the document using the INSERT SYMBOL function.
4. Ensure that your abstract is grammatically correct and free of typographical errors.
5. Abstracts will not be edited after submission.
6. Use single spacing throughout the document.
7. The text of the abstract should be a single paragraph with no sections.
8. About the use of abbreviations, spell out the name in full at the first time. It should be followed by the abbreviation in parenthesis. Do not use abbreviations in the title of the abstract.
9. The Abstract is limited to maximum one page (A4 paper size).
 
Submission of Abstract
1. For On-line submission, visit the conference website (http//www.obesity2007.org). Click on "Abstract Submission" on the page that appears, enter all abstract information in appropriate boxes.
2. Be certain to provide all information requested. Check your information and password carefully before submitting.
3. Attach your abstract in MS Word Format only (Any version available).
4. Do not submit the same abstract more than once, either by online or by email.

6. All abstracts must be submitted electronically through On-line submission at our homepage or by e-mail (seoul@obesity2007.org). No-paper-based submission will be accepted.
