1. I would like the refund of my registration fee. What should I do?

The organizing committee will refund the registration fee according to the following rules. Refunds will only be made if a written notice of cancellation is received before May 31, 2010. Only cancellations made in writing will be accepted.

2. Can’t make payment through the online registration system.

If you want to use the online registration system on this conference site, you have to set up the Active X module. This is only available with Explorer. Firefox, Chrome and Safari users can’t make payments online. Participants having difficulties making payment through the online registration system, please use offline credit card payment (Only VISA/MASTER is available), or Bank Transfer.
Download the offline credit card payment form and fill out all information, and send it back to the secretariat e-mail (solar@ips18.com) or fax (+82-2-56-6087).
3. I’d like to have the registration receipt.
- You can print out the receipt after completion of payment online. If you need the registration form in detail, let the secretariat know your name/ID/amount of money by e-mail. We will send confirmation of registration by e-mail.
4. I want an invitation letter to get a visa.
- As a rule, invitation letters are only issued to invited speakers, Oral/Poster presenters and regular participants who complete payment. For issuing a visa, download the visa issue form from registration page and send it to the secretariat e-mail.
5. What kind of benefit is given when I register?
- The Welcome reception and all conference sessions are available to registrants. Also, a conference bag, program book and lunch coupon will be provided. However, to participate in the conference dinner, an extra ticket is on sale.
5. I want a tax invoice for the registration fee.(Only for domestic participants)
- Tax invoices are issued just for bank transfers. (Credit card payment is not available) Domestic participants who needs tax invoices, please send your business license and information below to the secretariat e-mail or fax.
Information: Participant’s name, Phone number (Office and Cell phone number), E-mail address to receive tax invoice, issuing category and amount (ex: Registration Fee: USD 550).
6. I’d like to do pre-registration, but what if online/offline card payment, bank transfer is all unavailable, or in the case of group registration, what should I do?
- Contact to the secretariat, we will guide you.
7. If I submit a paper to IPS-18, which journal will publish my paper?
- Traditionally, IPS-18 published in the proceeding book with presenter’s abstract. So, YOU might not need to submit your paper after the conference.
8. I’d like to make a modification of my abstract (ex: add author, etc.)
- Please contact the secretariat individually.
9. What kind of equipment is presently available?
- For oral presenters, a laptop computer (offering Microsoft office 2003, 2007) and razor pointer is prepared. Checking your presentation material at least 40 minutes before the lecture at the preview room is recommended.
10. What if I can’t make it there to attach the poster in person?
- Poster presentation is possible, only when you complete registration. If you can’t participate for some unavoidable reason after registration, send the printed poster to the secretariat one week before IPS-18.
11. When may I register to compete for the poster award?
- You may register to compete for the poster award at the time of submitting your abstract. However, if you decide you want to compete for the award at a later time that still may be possible. Just contact the secretariat by e-mail.
12. I’d like to make a hotel reservation, how can I do that?
- Please check the accommodation page. (http://people-x.com/homepage/ips-18/info2.asp). If possible, complete your reservation by the first week of June. Then it’s more certain and you can get a reservation at a discounted price.
13. Is there any formal tour program? If any, can I get a contact number for individual tours? (Tour agency)
- IPS-18 is not running any formal tour program, but IPS-18 has prepared a free variety program tour for July 28th in the afternoon. Please see the Tour page at the homepage and contact the tour agency (Plaza 21) individually.
14. I’d like to have an individual tour, is there any tour to participate in on the same day without pre registration?
- We recommend Seoul city tour. Call the Korean National Tourism Organization for enquiry. 1330(regular phone, pay phone) 02-1330(Cell phone) for details check the homepage.
15. How can I participate in the welcome reception and conference dinner?
- Every participant who registers in the conference may attend the welcome reception. Participants who want to attend the conference dinner can purchase dinner tickets through the online registration program.
16. How much does it cost for children to attend the reception?
- The conference dinner doesn’t have a fixed cost for children. Children pay the cost of adult admission. Free entrance is available when accompanying child is under 5 years old or doesn't require extra food.
17. Does IPS-18 have a Travel Grant?
- IPS-18 does not offer any Travel Grant.
