| From the airport To Grand Hilton Seoul |
When you arrive at Incheon International Airport, you may
get information on limousine and buses and purchase the bus
ticket at the Transportation Information Counter (near the exit
No. 2, 4, 9, 13) on the arrival floor (1st floor) of passenger
terminal.
Starting from April 2, 2002, you may purchase bus tickets at
the designated counters in the passenger terminal. |

Climate |
| Korea enjoys four seasons and different types of weather :
spring, summer, autumn and winter. Korea is located in the East
Asian Monsoon belt. The peninsula has hot, humid summers and
long, dry, cold winters. Spring and autumn are rather short,
but very pleasant with crisp weather and many days of sunshine.
Average temperature in October is around 13¡ÆC-19¡ÆC. The autumn
period is a time of little rain and cool temperatures and might
be the best time to visit Korea. |

Incheon International Airport |
|
Built on an extensive reclaimed tidal land between two islands,
Incheon International Airport is situated 50km from downtown
Seoul and conference main venue. It operates 24 hours. The code
for Incheon International airport is 'ICN'.
Limousine buses may be the best way to travel easily, at minimal
expense, to and from various points around Korea. Information
and tickets are available at the Transportation Information
Counters near exits No. 2, 4, 9 and 13 on the arrival floor
of the passenger terminal. |

Time Zone |
| The Korean Peninsula lies at the northeastern corner of the
Asian continent between China and Japan. Korea uses one time
zone and it 9 hours ahead of GMT, the same as Japan. |

Visa |
| Citizens of countries which have reciprocal visa exemption
agreements with Korea are not required to have a visa to enter
Korea for a short stay. Usually visitors with confirmed outbound
tickets may stay in Korea for up to 15 days without a visa.
Citizens of all other countries must obtain a visa from a Korean
embassy or consulate prior to entering Korea. |

Currency |
| Korea's currency is called "won". The exchange rate
varies, but 1 USD is approximately 1,124 Won as of September,
2004. Money can be exchanged at most banks, travel agencies,
and hotels. Major credit cards are accepted in most restaurants
and hotels. |

Electrical System |
| Outlets for 220 volts 60 cycle are dominant. Always check
the power supply before using your equipment.

Tax & Tipping |
| Value-added Tax (VAT) is levied on most goods and services
at a standard rate of 10% and is included in the retail price.
Tipping is not a traditional Korean custom. A 10% service charge
is added to your bill at all tourist hotel and 3~10% at some
big restaurants. |
